SATELLITE PLANT & UTILITY SYSTEMS UPGRADE
University of California, Riverside
Major upgrade and expansion of the Central Utility Systems
for the UCR campus. The Project phases included a 2.4 million gallon TES Tank,
two 2,000 ton electric chillers, cooling towers, electrical systems and associated
distribution pumps, a new 10,000 square foot Satellite Plant building, a 7,200
LF of chilled water distribution piping, a 5,000 LF of 12 kV power distribution,
a 3,000 LF of steam distribution, and chilled water piping modifications to
several buildings.
CENTRAL PLANT (CP3) EXPANSION
University of California, San Diego
Expansion of the Central Utilities Plant (CUP) at UCSD. The CUP consists of two 13 MW gas turbine generators with HRSG’s, 10,000 tons steam turbine chillers, 4,200 tons electric chillers, 200,000 pounds per hour steam boilers, 4,500 KW diesel generators, HTHW heat exchangers, 72,000 gpm cooling towers and associated distribution pumps.
TES SYSTEM & CENTRAL PLANT
California State University, Pomona
Provided the design and construction of a new 6,000 ton chilled water central plant and chilled water distribution piping.
KERN COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER CENTRAL PLANT
Bakersfield, California
M-E was the prime consultant for the feasibility study and design of a new central chiller water and boiler plant.
COGENERATION & UTILITY SYSTEMS IMPROVEMENTS
San Diego State University, California
Provided conceptual design and analysis of the 12 MW gas fired cogeneration plant to serve SDSU’s campus as Engineer of Record for Design Build Contractor.
