M-E provided electrical engineering services associated with the replacement of an existing 12kV metering station with a 69kV substation serving Point Loma Naval Facilities Complex. This fast-track project required extensive coordination with SDG&E and multiple subconsultants. This project won two letters of commendation from the Navy.

M-E provided electric utility system survey and analysis to identify repair requirements. We included aerial survey and digitization of maps per GIS standards. We also created complete base topo and utility maps for water, propane, sewer, electrical and communication systems.
66-12KV, 40 MVA SUBSTATION
City of Industry, California
M-E contracted to prepare drawings and performance based design-build specifications setting forth in detail the requirements for the design and construction of a single 40 mVA, 66kV to 12kV substation and 12kV services to the 400 acre site.
