R.W. JOHNSON PHARMACEUTICAL RESEARCH FACILITY

M-E provided mechanical and electrical engineering for this research and development facility of 120,000 square feet. The building primarily houses chemistry (wet labs), biology and vivarium space. Additional support areas include a conference center, a computer/data center, research offices and cafeteria.
NATURAL SCIENCES UNIT 1
University of California, Irvine
M-E provided mechanical, plumbing design-build engineering services for the 119,000 square foot, four story, laboratory and office/classroom building. This facility includes biology and chemistry (wet) labs, NMR research labs, a computer center and conference center.
HEWITT HALL
University of California, Irvine
M-E provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing design/build engineering services for the 60,000 gross square foot, three story, laboratory and office building. The building is designed with flexibility for research in immunology, infectious diseases and genetics.
CROUL HALL
University of California, Irvine
M-E provided plumbing and HVAC engineering services for this new, 53,000 gross square foot, three story, laboratory/research building. The building houses wet, dry, optical and computer-based laboratories; research support facilities to include an electronics facility and mass spectrometer facility; staging space office and conference space to accommodate the School of Physical Sciences Department of Earth System Science.
BASIC SCIENCES BUILDING
University of California, San Diego
M-E provided electrical design for the phased renovation of a occupied 6-story, 190,000 square foot laboratory, entry lobby and corridor renovation including lighting, normal power, emergency power, substation upgrade and replacement.
