BALBOA PARK LIGHTING RETROFIT PHASES I & II
San Diego, California
M-E provided electrical survey and design for the removal of the 2,400 volt series circuits and replacement of the associated LPS lighting fixtures with 480/240/208 volt HPS fixtures in over 400 acres of Balboa Park, a historic San Diego landmark. The number of lighting fixtures (luminaires and 22'-50' poles) in three parking lots were reduced by 50% based on the design study by using innovative lighting design.

UCSD MEDICAL CENTER, ENERGY/LIGHTING AUDIT

Preparation of comprehensive energy audit including the development of existing energy usage profiles, identification of energy conservation opportunities (ECOs) and life cycle cost analysis for each ECO. $10 million in energy retrofit projects identified including high efficiency lighting and ballasts.
