M-E Engineers is providing mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering design, and LEED consulting services for this 900,000 square foot residential mixed-use development in Downtown San Diego. The office building will achieve LEED Silver certification. Estimated construction cost for this design-build project is $84 million.
County of San Diego Operations Center
San Diego, California

M-E provided complete Commissioning services, which included the compilation of the commissioning document and detailed system testing procedures. Commissioning services performed during construction included Field Observation (one per week), Equipment and Shop Drawing Submittal Review, O&M Review, O&M Training (specified requirements, review procedures submittal and post-training interviews to assure Q.A.).
Fire Station No.29
San Ysidro

M-E Engineers was the LEED commissioning provider for services for The City of San Diego Fire Station No. 29. The fire station is a $3 million, 10,000 square foot facility including sustainable design features including “cool” roof, hook-up for photovoltaic, low water use irrigation, low water use plumbing fixtures, renewable finishes, low VOC paints and recycling areas. The fire station will be the city’s first United States Green Building Council LEED certified new construction building. The City intends to achieve Silver certification for this facility.
Sempra Yukon Technical Operations
City of Industry, California

M-E successfully completed LEED Commissioning for the Sempra Yukon project consists of three (3) buildings; administration, logistics, and fleet services. This building achieved the USGB Silver LEED rating.
New Main Library
San Diego, California

M-E Engineers is providing LEED consulting, building commissioning, and peer review for value engineering and quality control of San Diego’s newest icon. Totaling 500,000 square feet, the 10-story building covers an entire city block in San Diego’s East Village/Ballpark Districts.
Physical Fitness Center - Camp Pendleton
Oceanside, California

M-E Engineers conducted a Green Building Study (sustainable building design). The planning included utility services: gas, water, sewer, fire protection, mechanical equipment and space requirements. for hot water circulation piping and pumps. This Project was awarded the Certificate of Commendation for Green Building Report, Camp Del Mar Fitness Center, MCB Camp Pendleton in 1996.
