Smart Corner
San Diego, California
M-E Engineers is providing mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering design, and LEED consulting services for this 900,000 square foot residential mixed-use development in Downtown San Diego. The office building will achieve LEED Silver certification. Estimated construction cost for this design-build project is $84 million.
Trellis Fifth Avenue
San Diego, California
This 10-story mixed-use development in San Diego’s popular Gaslamp Quarter includes 149 condominium units, 19,000 sf retail, and underground parking for 174 vehicles. The high-rise building incorporated an engineered plumbing system (Sovent).
The Mark
San Diego, California
M-E Engineers was the LEED commissioning provider for services for The City of San Diego Fire Station No. 29. The fire station is a $3 million, 10,000 square foot facility including sustainable design features including “cool” roof, hook-up for photovoltaic, low water use irrigation, low water use plumbing fixtures, renewable finishes, low VOC paints and recycling areas. The fire station will be the city’s first United States Green Building Council LEED certified new construction building. The City intends to achieve Silver certification for this facility.
Doma
San Diego, California
M-E Engineers provided MEP design-build service for this 15,000 sf mixed-use project at India and Cedar streets in San Diego’s rapidly developing Little Italy urban village. The development consists of 41 condominium units with 5,000 sf of street-level retail and 59 parking spaces.
Element, East Village
San Diego, California
M-E Engineers provided mechanical engineering for this mixed-use residential project located at 15th & Market in San Diego’s newest urban village. The 8-story project will contain 4,000 square feet of retail space and 65 condominiums.
